Slowloris, The DDoS Attack

First introduced by Robert “RSnake”, Slowloris is a tool that is used by a machine to bring down another machine’s web browser.

It is known as a denial service attack. You can understand it better from the picture given below.

This attack normally ends with an incomplete HTTP request and the web browser gives an error stating “Connection Time Out”.

How You Can Get Slowloris

For Linux, you can download slow loris from GitHub.


After executing the tool, you will have to write the following command to execute the DDoS

perl ./ -dns

{abc is an example domain}
